City Lights Makeup Artistry is currently providing one on one private lessons.
CLMA will establish a makeup academy in 2013 & A certification by The Illinois Board of Higher Education is in the works. We are very excited for the new journey ahead.
"I am more than thrilled to announce the opening of our makeup academy. We are still scouting locations so the location has not been set in stone.
I personally attended a makeup school. I can truthfully say I did not take anything from my experience and it hurt me. I am here to change that for you. From experience, I know what I want to give my students. Feeling ripped off is a terrible feeling. I am here to provide a safe haven for real artists who are passionate about the art and want a fulfilling career working in the industry. Without holding back, I will take your hand and show you everything I know.
My school will provide more than any other. It is my goal to WOW each and every student who walks into my building.
I have extensive experience in customer care and know exactly what it takes to keep a person happy while providing a service. First and foremost, I promise to provide the most for your money. I will spend one on one time with each and every student to ensure you completely understand each technique. I will help you pick out a brush set. Assist with assembling your makeup kit and at the end of each term I will hold a photo shoot for my students with real industry professionals (photographers and agency models). That way, when you complete our courses you will have something more than a piece of paper to show for it."
The money you pay in, you will get back in knowledge and experience. Our plans are to invite celebrity guests, professional artist seminars and also bring students on location to experience styling a real, in studio or on location photo shoot.
